Today’s energy was weird: post Halloween and consumption of way more sugar than I’m used to, I feel kind of like garbage — but not in an all consuming way. More like, 4/6 pistons on all fronts.

I was able to spend some time on fixing up my paperback format for HUNTING MIDNIGHT, and may even get some words in before the day’s out. I watched a Modern Ontra-prenuer episode focused on a writer (Jenna McCarthy), and it stirred some thoughts around in my head.

The insight that fell out of that stirring: There are not two output priorities (words, shipment). There are three:

• Words
• Shipments
• Platform

The addition of platform is my holistic presence; more than the author’s name, but really the whole MostlyLies imprint. It me, my face, my personality. It’s marketing engine that I build myself and through extended support. It got me curious about maybe talking on a vlogging component to this blog… putting more fuel on the whole Reddit fire… because the platform is synergistic system that leads to the assets and spins up other opportunities. And man, I do love Mostly Lies as a concept. This also accelerates my conviction to re-Wordpress this site. 🙂
