So, tomorrow’s end of month, and there are two things “due.” The first is some 3,500 words to meet my goal of 20,000 in September. The second is to ship something.

I originally opted for the words, since shipment still depends on covers, and I only have CHILDSEEKER’s, and that still needs editing in many places. I chugged along on MIDNIGHT, armed with my ideas from yesterday. But in grafting some of the vines scenes into the new storyline, I snagged again! After some hours of banging words together, I think I succeeded in a way that will allow for a rough ol’ draft… but it did not end up as 3,500 net new words. Maybe 1,000… most of which won’t be used. I’ll count it, but it falls short.

So, I am going to start a mini-shipment before the day runs out. CHILDSEEKER’s first three chapters were always meant to be free, so I’ma start seeding it on Wattpad. See what happens! Maybe focus on getting installment two ready for pub and test out the paid model! Depending on how foolish Nuit Blanch gets this evening, it could all be done by Monday… as always, we shall see.
