Oh yeah, forgot to mention yesterday: I didn’t manage any more super early mornings this week. My body was not up for it twice in a row (yet) and then Thursday evening I was out late and had too much vodka to sustain an early morning wake up.

This evening (Friday) are some social catch ups, leaving the weekend open to a big ole pile of to-dos. KDP publishing looms… there’s a pricing snag I’m still thinking around… and the competing need to actually write. OH and my roundup post continues to be overdue. I am hoping to take some vacation days soon to turn next weekend into a 4-dayer to reset and re-calibrate on some things. OR use it to take a mini trip to Hamilton. Bah!

Despite the slightly less focused past few weeks (and weeks to come), I have managed to keep Hunting Midnight’s verve and love alive in my heart. This would bode a lot worse if I was feeling “bleh” on the story’s potential! Okay, end ramble!
