Relative success

I wrote 2,217 words of Hunting Midnight Ep4 today, and there’s a clear path ahead on what I want to happen next. I’m past the 15K mark for the total count.

Relativity speaking, when I stalled on Ep3 for months, it was around this point in the length (13K). I had a fuzzy sense of what to do next, and once I found a sharper path, the rest of the story came easy. So, when you compare the two situation, Ep4 feels like is being written more “successfully” and I do not anticipate a similar hang up. Let’s hope this doesn’t jinx it!

In other news, I’ve been enjoying the response and the task of growing the @writewritenow Insta account. Other people seem to enjoy it as well! The plan is pretty simple: focus on posting at least daily until my follower count is healthy enough to begin the idea of some mutual cross-promo.

Thanks to tracking wordcount, I know today I achieved the 10% mark of the annual 240K goal. It’s the 27th day of the year, meaning we’re 7.4% through 2018 (already?!)–thus, tracking ahead of schedule! 9.8 days, to be precise (also shown on the tracker).

Celebrations in the form of being social shall commence shortly, then DnD tomo’. 🙂
