For the entirety of the year thus far, my total word count has tracked above the daily goal. Today I am still “in the black,” but by less than a day’s breadth. This is a superficial observation, because my only true goal is to write at least once every day… but it’s worth noting if tomorrow is under-goal again and I go into the red for the first time.

On the flip side, I made it to an important plot milestone in Hunting Midnight Episode 6 this evening (one I’d envisioned happening many, many moons ago and it is working out nicely!), the Crestfallen publishing project is about ready to steam forward, and many other pieces of life are chugging along beautifully. And it’s finally getting warm again!

My hope is that the April drought will bring the May floods, word wise, though this coming month is crammed full of work conferences (read: travel), the first true wave of concert-season and probably a million other things I am forgetting.

Ninety-nine problems, but boredom ain’t one.
